i bought this pretty handpainted egyptian cotton (named “mutiny!”) from the black stitch.
i wanted to make something girly and pink, but simultaneously a little tough and piratical, and i ended up with this singlet. i’m not quite sure whether it’s finished (i might do something different with the top part) but i’ve worn it a couple of times already & i like it.
i didn’t use a pattern for this, just maths. it has a moss stitch edging around the bottom and the edges of the sleeves, and has waist shaping & short row bust shaping (which i worked out with the help of this magknits pattern).
